In this beginner friendly tutorial you will see how to use the lights in the viewport.
I will show basics of placing lights and enable the high quality light modes. There are also multiple settings that will be shown to tweak more detail of the lightning in the viewport.

The video will only show rendering in real-time in the viewport. This way your models look nicer by default when working on a tool or simulation.

Nearing the end of the video I will give more tips. Showing how to quickly render multiple frames of your setup. This is great for making work in progress shots of a procedural tool. Other tip is saving nodes in the shelf tools, with that you don’t have to build everything from scratch in a new scene. You can click on the custom shelf tools to quickly add lights or other nodes.
